Yay! Yesterday at 9am was my Graduation ceremony. I had to get up at 6:30, but it was worth it. I had a lot of fun at the ceremony and was so happy that my friends and family were able to attend. Brian, his mom and brother, my parents, my brother, Papa, Aunt Suzanne, and Aunt Karen and Uncle Tom were all able to come and cheer for me. After the ceremony we took lots of pictures and then went to lunch at BJ's. Yummy! Aunt Karen and Uncle Tom weren't able to come because they had to beat the traffic to get back home (they left at 5:30am just to come see me!).
Aunt Karen made me a beautiful quilt full of colorful horses. It is so beautiful. I will have to take a picture of it when I get back home. Eileen (Brian's mom) got me a new purse, and Papa gave me lots of money for my Europe trip. Thank you so much everyone! <3 Today Brian and I were supposed to go to Disneyland, but he threw out his back this morning and I still have a cold. It actually has gotten worse, sigh. We both also slept horrible (we had to share his full bed since Robert slept in the guest bedroom downstairs, where I usually sleep). So we just had a lazy day, took a nap, went to the bank, and then.... I BOUGHT A 16GB IPOD TOUCH! YEAH! It's charging up as we speak. I can't wait to play with it! Also, we might go see Up! (the Pixar movie) later after the Laker game. Go Lakers! And yay again for graduating. :) PICTURES:

All Turned In...Now What?
Well, it's official: I am done with school. I just submitted my last final paper online. Monday was my only actual final day, and I turned in two of my papers early that day as well (I'm an overachiever). I can't believe that I am COMPLETELY done with school, FOREVER. It is the weirdest feeling in the world.
So, now that I don't have school, I'm kind of wondering what I'm going to do with my life. I still have work but that's only for a couple hours a day in the afternoons and evenings. Obviously I have some chores to catch up on, like laundry and cleaning my room...but that doesn't take too long. So what will I do until July 6th rolls around?
I could:
1. Get another job, but this seems less than likely, because who would hire someone to work mornings, Mon-Thu, and only for a month and a half?
2. Write, something I haven't done in a LONG time.
3. Read, see above.
4. Do Crafts (Garden, Sew, Scrapbooking, etc). I keep meaning to do these things but never have any time.
5. Play the Sims 3 when it comes out June 2.
I'll probably just play the Sims 3. Sigh. I'm addicted.
BTW, Mimi sent me some beautiful doilies and table linens as my graduation gift. There were so many! My favorites are the butterfly doily, the table runner, and the doily with the three spirals. I will have to take pictures soon! :)

It's Planned!
Our trip to Germany is officially planned! We spoke to Florian and his parents Saturday night and finalized everything. We were going to start looking into plane tickets sometime this week when...
I got bored working on my essay, and took a break. I decided to go to bookingbuddy.com and look up flights around the days we were thinking of going. And would you believe it! They were $250 cheaper than the last time we had checked! So, we got them!
Our plane leaves from LAX on the night of July 6 (arriving in Germany the night of July 7), and we will return September 4 in the afternoon. A whole two months in another country! Wow! We will be staying with Mama and Papa in Pleiningan, a little town outside of Stuttgart, except for the weeks of Aug 2-Aug 16. Mama and Papa are going on vacation to the Canary Islands. So, Brian and I will take those two weeks to tour Europe!
Some countries I wish to see:
1. Germany (obviously)
2. Czech Republic
3. Slovakia
4. Italy
5. France
6. Switzerland
Of course, we won't be able to visit England or Ireland, but I would like to do that someday in the future. I am just so excited! It will be a very new experience for me. I won't have a job, school, or anything for the first time in my life. I am just looking forward to traveling and seeing the world for the first time (and hopefully writing as well).

Some Small Updates
I haven't had much to blog about lately. Just trying to keep up with the amount of school work I have and preparing for the final weeks again. I have just one more week of classes and then finals week. I have two ten page papers, a six page paper, one final exam, and poem revisions and critiques. It all seems rather daunting.
I have sent out my graduation announcements to family and friends, and am tentatively planning to have a party. I am definitely looking forward to it!
I am also getting more hours at work. My Monday and Wednesday schedule will be the same, from 4:00-6:30. Tuesdays will be 3:45-6:45, and Thursdays will be 2:45-6:15. My hours on Monday and Wednesday might increase when I finish school as well.
Brian and I are finally starting to actively plan our trip to Germany this summer. We are going to speak with Florian and his parents tonight or tomorrow on Skype (cheaper than calling).
So, I'm very busy and a little stressed. Needless to say I'm looking forward to summer!
